Grassy Meadow Walk Toward Distant Hills

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.” ~ John Lubbock, The Use Of Life

Walk through a field of grasses on a warm, summer day in this Banks, Idaho location to get to this incredible view of a thread of dirt road, soft clouds, and distant hills in the Boise National Forest. The air is fresh and clean, bees are buzzing around, and among the smaller birds you will often see hawks in flight in the area, maybe an eagle if you’re lucky!

According to scientific studies, spending time in a natural environment is very healing. The problem is that sometimes you can’t do that. We now know that having a view of a beautiful, natural setting lush with green and growing things is nearly as good as being in Nature itself. Just imagine this is Your living room……Ahhhhhhh.

I took these photos with that intention, sought out the most beautiful landscapes with elements close by as well as at a distance so they would be most pleasing to the senses. All the photos on this site were taken by me specifically for the purpose of becoming Natural Healing Views.
