“Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature, it will never fail you.” ~ Frank Lloyd Wright
This evening walk takes place in Kathryn Albertson Park, one of Boise, Idaho’s most beautiful (in my opinion) is pure joy for two reasons: 1 – because it’s a 41-acre small animal sanctuary, and 2 – fall colors in the park are absolutely gorgeous. There are many species of birds there, and I often see ‘birders’ (bird photographers) walking the paths with their Very Long Lenses! This lawn has since been replaced by a field of wildflowers, very colorful in the summer! The park is named after Kathryn, the wife of Joe Alberston founder of the grocery store chain by the same name in 1936.
According to scientific studies, spending time in a natural environment is very healing. The problem is that sometimes you can’t do that. We now know that having a view of a beautiful, natural setting lush with green and growing things is nearly as good as being in Nature itself. Just imagine this is Your living room……Ahhhhhhh.
I took these photos with that intention, sought out the most beautiful landscapes with elements close by as well as at a distance so they would be most pleasing to the senses. All the photos on this site were taken by me specifically for the purpose of becoming Natural Healing Views.
